Growing up, this client has always been a fan of tractors and farm equipment getting to enjoy them throughout. This model depicts one of his rider mowers in as accurate of detail as possible.

The challenge with this specific project came with the personal design constraints of keeping the model compact, while providing a blade spinning functionality as in the actual mower. Granted this is not fully accurate to the actual, the function of two blades spinning opposite directions powered off of an axle from the rear wheels. Each front wheel spins independently connected to the steering column and wheel. Even though these mowers are now commonly electric, this specific mower focuses on a more outdated model with the gas tank just beneath the seat, larger handle for raising and lowering the mower deck, as well as the necessary foot peddle to preform this operation.

A hidden play feature is included with the operation of lifting the hood to reveal the engine block. Attached at the front, the hood lays angled over the engine giving the slight slope back to the steering wheel, which would make for an unfortunate accident if a driver were to run into say a basketball goal and send the hood flying off.
