COMMISSION FORM
Do I need to give a Budget?

Absolutely not! This is something I will work with you on directly, throughout the project until the end. I will give an initial price range on what the model could cost, and can provide a more detailed cost breakdown as the project progresses if desired.

By no means do I want this to be a hinderance to our work together! I am much more interested in creating something beautiful and fun.

Are there instructions?

Depending on the nature and scale of the project, there may be so. If it is a large scale model that is intended to be used for display purposes only, maybe you do not require them with the build being delivered assembled. However, if the commission is intended to be a custom gift, then yes, instructions will be generated in a way so that that person can enjoy building the model themselves.

How far in advance should I reach out?

Please reach out as early as possible! No time is too early to start working on a project - the earlier we begin, the more time we have to create a final product that we are both happy with.

Even if you want the model a year in advance, and feel it is a small project, that is perfectly okay! I would rather we take the time for a build that you can be happy with, than have something rushed. Having time to iterate a design will make for a better finished product. An initial build can almost always be improved, and having more time in our schedule allows for that to happen.

What if I forget a detail in the description?

It is not a problem at all! Throughout the design phase we will discuss work that has been done via email, phone, or video call. Details can be elaborated on at anytime.

Afterall, one of the most fun parts of working on any project is seeing the build evolve!
