On this dark purple surface, a little prince and his fox companion discover the beauty of a new flower. Where could it have come from? Brick-built you say??
The human and animal sculpting that this model required were a fantastically fun challenge to take on! This build began with the prince's face, dependent on the level of detail that could be captured without overdoing the simple face of the character. Following the head sculpt and tufts of minifigure hand hair came the torso, legs, and finally arms. By utilizing bright and normal brick green, subtle color shading for folds within the fabric were able to be captured and add another level of depth to the final product. As for his friend Foxy, the head was the same approach, and quickly followed by a detailed SNOT assembly within the head and torso.
The challenge this commission brought to the table was a fantastic experience!
