Bjorn Clidestine set sail to feed his starving village, battered by drought, failed crops, and raids. Supplies were low, and hope was running out. What began as a desperate fishing trip turned into a journey for something more—a new beginning.
After days at sea and a brutal storm, Bjorn awoke far off course. Before him lay a place beyond imagining: islands floating in the sky, with purple grass and glowing trees—a surreal world unlike anything from home.
The waters below teemed with massive, vibrant fish. The land felt untouched, almost sacred. Could this be the answer to his village’s suffering?
Now, Bjorn faced a choice: explore this strange paradise, or return and risk everything to share its wonder with his people.
Either way, and for better or for worst, the world had changed. To stay solemn at this new prosperous homestead? Perhaps, yet abandoning his family is heart-wrenching. Yet if he cannot make the journey home, then either way his return would be void and he too would belong to the Aether.
This build was a very different challenge. It was one that focused on the use of color, incorporating some mechanisms into it, and telling some vivid story in a small footprint.
Lavender with yellowish green contrast each other nicely while not being too outlandish from one another.
